The Shard, or Shard London Bridge (formerly known as London Bridge Tower[3][4] or the Shard of Glass),[5][6] is a skyscraper in London, United Kingdom. Located near the London Bridge Station in the heart of the London Bridge quarter  and standing 309.6 metres (1,016 ft) above ground level, it is the tallest building in Europe as of July 2012.
